Change in Health Insurance Marketplace premiums for 2015-2016

In a report published on April 12, 2016 by the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), the key highlights found that for the plan year of 2016, early estimates based on filings “suggested higher premium increases than what Marketplace consumers paid.” The report also found that 67 percent of Healthcare.gov consumers chose a new plan for 2016.
